Why have a website?

Social apps don’t replace your own domain. A site is where you control the message, show up in search, and turn curiosity into contact.

Classic question — still valid. If customers already find you on Instagram or message on WhatsApp, why bother with a site?

Because social platforms are rented land. Algorithms change, accounts lock, ads vanish. Your site is where the business speaks in its own voice, on its own domain — searchable and measurable.

What a good site actually does

  • Explains what you sell in 10 seconds (no feed required).
  • Shows up when someone searches service + city.
  • Points to a clear next step: WhatsApp, form, or email.
  • Builds proof: cases, process, who’s behind it.

When a site is priority

If you compete in local search, close higher tickets, need B2B credibility, or want to stop repeating the same pitch in chat — ship a site early. If referrals + WhatsApp already convert, start with a strong landing and grow from there.

What not to do

  • Clone a generic template with no offer or proof.
  • Hide contact options in the footer.
  • Treat the site as an endless rebrand project.
  • Assume Instagram alone covers SEO and trust.

At Fortes Tech, sites ship when they convert or support a product. If it’s only “look pretty,” we align expectations before writing code.

Quick answers

Isn’t Instagram enough?

Great for audience and relationship. It doesn’t replace Google search or a stable place for proposal, cases, and contact.

Do I need a big site?

No. A focused landing often covers the first cycle. Size follows what you must explain and sell.
