Why have a blog?

A blog isn’t “post every week to look modern.” It’s answering real buyer questions — and showing up for those searches.

Another classic. “Blog” often means an editorial calendar nobody reads. Done right, it’s different.

What a blog is actually for

  • Answer questions buyers already type into Google.
  • Educate without depending only on sales calls.
  • Create intent pages beyond the homepage.
  • Show judgment: how you think about the problem.

When it’s not worth it

If nobody can write honestly, the offer changes weekly, or the site still lacks a clear CTA — the blog becomes dead inventory. Eight useful articles beat eighty generic posts.

A format that works for B2B services

  1. Pick real questions (price, timeline, site vs system, AI, legacy).
  2. Write in owner language, not agency-speak.
  3. End with a contact path.
  4. Update when the market changes.

This Fortes Tech blog exists for that reason: what clients ask on WhatsApp, written with criteria.

Quick answers

Do I need to post every week?

No. Consistency beats theatrical frequency. One solid piece every other week already moves the needle.

Does a blog sell by itself?

Rarely. It qualifies and nurtures. Sales still need CTA, conversation, and a proposal.

Want to apply this to your business?

About 30 minutes to align the problem and next step — no commitment.
